“The doctor-patient relationship is extremely important. I want my patients to know that they can trust me with their smiles. My goal is to help them understand the importance of oral health and how it can impact their entire systemic health.”
As a child, Dr. Daigle was so fascinated by the fine detail of teeth that she asked her mother if the tooth fairy would let her keep the teeth so she could look at and study them. Dr. Daigle and her mom wrote a letter to the tooth fairy, and the tooth fairy granted the request. Dr. Daigle says, “I’ve got most of my baby teeth in a Tyrannosaurus rex, tooth fairy box. I look back and see this as foreshadowing my future dental career. And for the record, those teeth came in handy in dental school, when it was time for my classmates and me to study baby teeth!”
Dr. Daigle is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, who graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Afterward, she worked as a dental assistant for eight years. In 2011, she received a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from LSU Health Sciences and worked as a registered dental hygienist for two years. In May 2018, Dr. Daigle earned her doctor of dental surgery degree (DDS) from the LSU School of Dentistry.
