
Elizabeth – Registered Dental Hygienist
Elizabeth has been a dental hygienist since 2024. She entered this field because she always believed that a healthy smile was the key to confidence and happiness. Her goal is to help people feel comfortable, cared for, and proud of their smiles. “Getting to work with some of the greatest dentists and dental hygienists in the field, motivates me to come to work,” Elizabeth said. “I am fortunate enough to learn from the best and improve my skills and knowledge each day.”
When she’s not working, Elizabeth loves to walk her Golden Doodle, Marshall, on long walks and trips to Starbucks for a pup cup! She also enjoys pickleball, reading, cooking, and beach volleyball.
Keisha – Registered Dental Hygienist
Keisha completed her bachelor’s degree in basic sciences from LSU and her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from LSUSD. She has been with our team for more than 14 years and works diligently each day to create the best possible experience for our patients. She loves the teamwork at our office.
Keisha and her husband, Stuart, have two children, Bennett and Kate. She enjoys spending time camping and fishing with her family, as well as running.
Rikki – Registered Dental Hygienist
Rikki has been with our team for over five years. She is a team player and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Her favorite thing about our office is her amazing coworkers!
Rikki and her husband have one son. Outside of the office she enjoys working out and spending time with her family.
In another life, I’m pretty sure I was… a talk show host… and a great one!
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is… be yourself.
My favorite comfort food is… cheeseburger with lots of bacon.
Celine – Registered Dental Hygienist
Celine has worked as a dental hygienist since 2024, after graduating from LSU Dental Hygiene School. She loves coming to work everyday. First, her co-workers are a dream, the kind of people you look forward to seeing. Plus, she gets to help patients learn more about oral health care and feel confident in their smile.
She and her fiancé are getting married in October. Together they have a black lab named Zep.
Taylor – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
A graduate of Southwest Dental Academy, Taylor has worked as in this field since 2016. She loves being able to change a patient’s perspective of going to the dentist when they’ve had poor experiences with a dentist in the past. She also loves changing someone’s smile and seeing them become more confident. Her coworkers and patients make coming to work every day something to look forward to.
She and her husband have two children and a toy poodle.
Mandy – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Mandy joined our team in July 2017. She works with children to show them at an early age how important oral hygiene is and loves being able to help children when they feel nervous.
Cats or dogs? Dogs.
My favorite comfort food is… chocolate or cookies.
If I were a superhero, my superpower would be… shapeshifting.
Leah – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Leah has been with our team for over nine years. She loves her coworkers and helps keeps our office running smoothly by ensuring we have all the materials and supplies we need.
Leah enjoys traveling with her family, reading a good story, cooking, and baking.
In another life, I’m pretty sure I was… part of the Royal Family.
If I won the lottery tomorrow, I’d… remodel my entire house!

Paiton – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Paiton has worked with us since 2019. She grew up in Youngsville. Paiton has one daughter and one dog. When she’s not working or taking care of them, her favorite thing to do is shop.
Ashlyn – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Dentistry has always been a passion of Ashlyn’s since she was a child. “The satisfaction of restoring a patient’s faith in dentistry
and thriving to give everyone optimal care is a huge part of why I love this field,” Ashlyn said.
When she’s not caring for our patients, Ashlyn stays very busy with her two daughters who are nine years apart in age.
Inger – Patient Care Coordinator
Inger has been with our team for 11 ½ years. She enjoys being part of a team that works together so well and works hard each day to be the best she can be at her job.
Inger has a wonderful husband, Darren, and an awesome 17-year-old daughter, Madison. Outside of the office, she enjoys gardening and bargain shopping.
In another life, I’m pretty sure I was… a throwback from an earlier time.
If I won the lottery tomorrow, I’d… donate some, but I’d still watch how I spent my money.
My favorite word in the English language is… optimism.
Katelyn – Patient Care Coordinator
Katelyn decided to get into dentistry because she’d always enjoyed working with people and being in a role where she could make someone’s day a little easier. Working at the front desk allows her to build relationships with our patients while helping them navigate scheduling, insurance, and their overall dental experience.
“I love being part of a team that helps patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles. For me, dentistry is about more than just appointments—it’s about creating a welcoming experience and making sure every patient feels valued from the moment they walk through our doors.”
She and her husband, Liam, have a white lab named Luna. They love living in this area because it has the perfect mix of a close-knit community with plenty of things to do. There’s always a new restaurant to try, a local event to enjoy, or a beautiful spot to explore. Katelyn especially loves the friendly people, the relaxed pace of life, and the feeling of being part of a community where everyone looks out for one another. It’s a place she’s proud to call home and loves being able to serve the people in our community.
When she’s not working, Katelyn loves photography, traveling, going out with friends, spending time with family, and watching shows and movies.
Sonya – Office Administration
Sonya joined us from Gonsoulin Dentistry. After 17 years in a smaller practice, she transitioned easily into our practice. She earned her bachelor of science degree in business administration at UL. She answers patient’s questions and helps them manage their dental care. Sonya’s favorite thing about the practice is the feeling of family from both our patients and other staff members.
Sonya loves interior design and staycations at home with her family.
In another life, I’m pretty sure I was… a butterfly or a panther.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is… Be patient and kind.
If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve… champagne.
Rachel – Patient Care Coordinator
Rachel joined Theriot Family Dental Care in 2017, bringing with her six years of experience from her time at Gonsoulin Dentistry. She loves that we are a large, fast-paced office that still maintains a mom and pop feel where you are not a number but a friend.
When Rachel isn’t working, she enjoys anything arts and crafts, fashion, thrift shopping, along with festivals and good food.
In another life, I’m pretty sure I was… a mermaid.
My favorite comfort food is… soup and sandwich.
Claire – Manager Assistant
Claire earned a bachelor’s from UL-Lafayette and master’s degree in health services administration from LSU-Shreveport. She goes above and beyond to make sure our patients are comfortable and happy as soon as they walk through the door. She loves helping staff discover new ways to best help their patients. Every day she is motivated by the amazing team she works alongside as they help patients accomplish their healthy smiles. Claire said, “We’re more than coworkers, we’re family, and become friends with our patients while making them comfortable and educating them!”
When she’s not working, Claire loves teaching dance. She and her husband, Michael, have a daughter and a dog named Cooper.
In another life, I’m pretty sure I was… a monkey at the zoo.
If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve… a Christmas tree (no matter what time of the year).

Tanya – Director of Operations
Tanya completed her degree as a certified nursing assistant in 2002 and has been with our team for 13 years. She ensures that our accounts are up-to-date and helps our patients get the most out of their insurance benefits. Tanya’s favorite part of our office is working together as a team to give our patients the best possible care.
Tanya and her husband Ryan have four children, Chloe, Brylee, Mia, and Parker.

When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be this when I grew up… a baby doctor.
Gwen – Sedation & Patient Care Coordinator
Gwen started working in dental offices in 2000. At the time, she had no dental experience and was nervous about her ability to do the job. Here she is, two decades later with a true love for dentistry. One of Gwen’s favorite parts of her job is getting to know the patients. Helping patients with their fear is her number one priority. She loves being a part of what makes them comfortable in the dental chair.
When she’s not working, Gwen loves shopping, painting, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. She and her husband, Barry, have been married since 1994. They have a daughter who just graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
