Ashleigh – Office Coordinator, Treatment, Sedation, and Invisalign Coordinator
Ashleigh is our Office Coordinator, and also coordinates treatment, sedation, and Invisalign. Born and raised in the charming town of New Roads, she still lives there with her husband, Sean, and their Goldendoodle, Honey Bee.
With a background in Health Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Ashleigh has been in the healthcare field since 2011, including 8 years specializing in general dentistry, pediatric dental care, and orthodontics. She joined the Theriot team in June 2022 and has really enjoyed interacting with patients and building relationships with them. “I find great support and motivation working with an amazing group of women who share the same goals and passion for total patient care,” Ashleigh said.
In her spare time, she loves antiquing with my her mother, gardening, saving plants from plant shelters, and spending time with family and friends. And of course, cheering on the LSU Tigers is a big part of life too! Some fun facts about Ashleigh are: Her comfort food is Mexican food or Gail’s sandwich from The Overpass Merchant with Brussels Sprouts, she always keeps snacks on her desk, and if she could travel anywhere, she’d make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Lauren – Business Operations Specialist
Lauren first fell in love with the Baton Rouge area when she attended Louisiana State University. After she graduated from there with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, she received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette. Now she is working in Baton Rouge and is thrilled to be here.
When asked what motivates her to comes to work each day, Lauren said, “Definitely the people. This office holds a special place in my heart because of the people I work for and the incredible team I get to work alongside every day. I can’t sing their praises enough. It really feels like a second family, and that’s something I never take for granted.”
Because she lives in a small town and gets to work in Baton Rouge, Lauren feels like she gets the best of both worlds. She’s been an LSU Tiger fan her entire life, and feels there is nothing like a Saturday night in Baton Rouge. She and her husband, Alec, met at LSU and then married at the end of 2025. When she isn’t working, Lauren loves working out and all things outdoors, including: hiking and boating. Above all, though, she enjoys being with her family no matter what they’re doing.
A couple of fun facts about Lauren:
She loves sitting on the front porch on a cool morning, drinking coffee and reading a book.
If she thinks about anything long enough, she will make a spreadsheet about it.
Ali – Dental Hygienist
Ali has worked as a dental hygienist since 2021. Originally from Prairieville, Louisiana, she started her undergraduate at LSU and then completed her bachelor’s degree at the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry. It was her own fear of the dentist as a child which inspired her to pursue a career in the dental field. Her hope was (and still is) to improve patients’ dental experiences. She loves working with her teammates and even keeps a guardian angel pin that she received from Dr. Redhead at her workspace.
When Ali isn’t at work, she loves spending time with friends and family, taking weekend trips, and tailgating for LSU football. She can also occasionally be found singing “Calling Baton Rouge” at a karaoke night.
Alissa – Dental Hygienist
Originally from Slidell, Louisiana, Alissa completed her undergrad at LSU before earning her dental hygiene degree from the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry. She’s been practicing since 2021, and truly enjoys building relationships with her patients. Alissa also loves teaching them new things about their oral health.
When she has free time, Alissa, loves spending time with friends and family. Some fun facts about her are: She traveled to Costa Rica and found it fascinating. Her go-to karaoke song is “Dancing Queen.”
Tina — Dental Hygienist
Tina joined our dental team over 15 years ago! In 1992, she graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in finance, and then in 1995, she graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry. She enjoys the intimate relationships she has been able to cultivate while she has worked at our practice. Tina has been married for over 20 years and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising. She loves both cats and dogs. When she was 5, she thought she would grow up to be a lawyer. If she were not a hygienist, she would be a therapist. If she won the lottery, she would pay off her bills.
Bettina – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Bettina grew up in Louisiana and knew she wanted a job that would make people smile. While she started off studying psychology, she decided to take her desire to make people smile literally and switched to dental assisting school. She finds it particularly satisfying when there are dramatic changes in a patient’s smile, whether it be from straightening their teeth with Invisalign or even just getting a smile back with dentures.
Bettina and her fiancé, Gary, have two dogs— Cocoa, a cheweenie, and Diamond, a bully. When Bettina and Gary are not working, they love to travel.
Hai – Dental Assistant
Hai lives in Baton Rouge. When she isn’t working she loves to go camping and hiking. She and her husband have two daughters. Some fun facts about Hai are: If she could have one superpower she would pick teleportation. She also found Gatlinburg, Tennessee to be one of the most interesting places she’s ever traveled to.
