Dr. Theriot is the lead dentist at Theriot Family Dental Care. While he is licensed as a general dentist, he has advanced credentials in dental implants including being awarded a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also has extensive post-graduate training in oral conscious sedation.
Dr. Soirez has been at Theriot Family Dental Care since 2007. She also has post-graduate training in sedation dentistry, but enjoys being able to perform all aspects of dentistry. She believes in a conservative treatment philosophy. Her patients remark that they appreciate her compassion, her explanations, and the way she understands dental fears.
Dr. Hebert was attracted to Theriot Family Dental Care because it was the type of family dental practice she wanted to be in, and because she had heard that it was such a pleasant place to work. She particularly enjoys being able to help patients overcome their dental fears and get to a state of dental health with an attractive smile.
Dr. Porter received his DDS degree from Louisiana State University, where he received several awards. He went on to specialize in orthodontics. He really enjoys the relationship he develops with each patient, but his favorite part of his work is what he calls "the big reveal" when the braces come off.
Dr. Collins graduated first in her class at the LSU School of Dentistry. A mother of three, Dr. Collins particularly enjoys treating children and spent several years working in a pediatric practice in St. Louis. Patients remark about her ability to help their children have great dental experiences.
Dr. Daigle knew from an early age that she wanted a career in dentistry. Fascinated by teeth, as a child, her mother helped her write a letter to the tooth fairy asking if she could keep her baby teeth so she could look at and study them, and the tooth fairy was okay with that.
Dr. Redhead loves her work. She considers that a big part of her work is to be an educator, and her patients remark that they like the way she explains their treatment. When asked what area of dentistry particularly interests her she responded, “I like it all!” Patients also appreciate her gentle touch.
