Theriot and Redhead take extra steps to get an accurate fit and make sure you love how your teeth look.<\/p>\n<p>Our process<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Two-impression technique<\/strong> \u2013 We take a preliminary impression and then make a custom tray from that impression. Then we&#8217;ll use that custom tray to get a more accurate final impression that is used to create your denture base. Some dentists don&#8217;t take this trouble.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Getting accurate\u00a0<\/strong><b>impressions<\/b> \u2013 A heavier impression material is used to record the periphery\u2014which determines the extent of the denture. This is important for maximum stability of the denture. A lighter body is then used for the inner part of the impression. That will record the finer details of your soft tissue, to help ensure that the denture won&#8217;t cause any sore spots.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wax try-in<\/strong> \u2013 We will set the acrylic denture teeth in a gum-colored wax model. You&#8217;ll be able to try this in to give you a preview of how your new smile will look and how it will feel when you bite down. If you&#8217;re hesitant about how the denture teeth look or wax model feels, we\u2019ll make any adjustments you want until you\u2019re confident about your new smile.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dentures<\/strong> \u2013 You\u2019ll receive a customized denture that fits well and looks natural. You\u2019ll be able to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Clean Your Denture<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Remove your denture at night and rinse it to remove food debris.<\/li>\n<li>Brush your denture daily with an extra-soft toothbrush and non-abrasive denture cleaner.
