For example, if you\u2019re missing a tooth, a dental implant is the most effective solution, but it&#8217;s also the most expensive. Although a dental bridge is more affordable, it requires grinding down the healthy tooth on either side of the missing one to support the bridge. Some patients who weigh the pros and cons decline a bridge even though it&#8217;s less expensive.
